Houston has a fantastic restaurant scene with new and exciting places popping up all the time, but this place draws us back time and time again. The service is unmatched - hosts, bartenders, servers, sommelier, and other staff are top-notch every single time. The food is incredible and I love that they stick to the classic steakhouse experience we all know and love. They are experts at providing all the classic staples of a traditional steakhouse while offering new and seasonal dishes. There is truly something for everyone here, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
We have dined at a number of Houston steakhouses in 2024 and have found, with the exception of B&B Butchers, either the food or the service is outstanding, but not both. We both love Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, but unfortunately last night it fell in the same category. Perhaps it was our fault because we were originally shown to a table in tight quarters and we requested a booth, which they happily obliged. It was then, however, 17 minutes until we were first approached by our server. The long spaces continued throughout the meal. That said we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and I just want to mention that the sommelier we spoke with, Zachary, is outstanding. Of course we will be back but next time we will aim for when they are less busy/shortstaffed.
Juicy, tender steak cooked to perfection! The flavors were incredible, and the ambiance was perfect for a special night out !
I visited this steak house at the recommendation of a friend who lives in Houston. The good, service and wine in the establishment was superb. Would highly recommend to any steak and wine lover.
