The Lyman House Memorial Museum occupies a restored 1839 mission house, one of the oldest frame buildings in Hawaii. The museum offers two floors of exhibits: the first floor displays the original mission home with period furnishings, while the second floor houses a collection of Hawaiian artifacts, including feather work, kapa cloth, and stone tools. A separate wing covers natural history, with volcanic rocks, shells, and bird specimens. Visitors gain insight into both missionary life and pre-contact Hawaiian culture.
