Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve, located in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Half Moon Bay, protects a stunning tract of ancient coast redwoods and second-growth forest. The preserve features over 21 miles of trails that wind through deep, shaded canyons carpeted with ferns and moss, then climb to open ridges with views of the Pacific.
