Riordan Mansion State Historic Park preserves the 1904 estate of the Riordan family, prominent Flagstaff lumber barons. Designed by architect Charles Whittlesey, the mansion is a stunning example of the Arts and Crafts movement, with rustic stonework, exposed timber, and handcrafted furnishings. Guided tours lead visitors through 40 rooms, including the family's living quarters, a billiard room, and a library, all filled with original artifacts. The property also features a visitor center with exhibits on Flagstaff's early history and the Riordan family's role in the region's development. The surrounding grounds offer gardens and picnic areas.
