Flagstaff station, built in 1926 by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway, is a beautifully preserved example of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. Today it serves as an Amtrak stop on the Southwest Chief route and houses a visitor center where travelers can get local information. The station’s distinctive red-tiled roof and stucco walls make it a landmark in downtown Flagstaff, and its platform offers a glimpse into the golden age of rail travel.
