The Mint Museum is Charlotte's premier art institution, with two distinct locations. The Mint Museum Uptown focuses on contemporary art and craft, while the original Mint Museum Randolph, housed in a historic U.S. Mint building, showcases American and European art, as well as an extensive collection of ceramics and porcelain. Visitors can explore galleries filled with paintings, sculptures, and decorative objects, from ancient to modern. The museum also offers hands-on art-making studios and a sculpture garden.
