Located on the busy corner of Metropolitan Pkwy & University Ave in West End Atlanta. It's not the most modern styled restaurant, but it has a groovy, hookah styled atmosphere. The patio has covered seating, TV monitors and always good music. It's boasted as having the best Jamaican Food in Atlanta. I usually order the Veggie Plate. It's a decent option if you opt for plant-based options. It's a little disappointing that it only comes with "peas and rice" and way too much cabbage for one meal. The rice barely has any peas mixed in. A couple of fried plantains are included. They're so good! To me, this plate is lacking a bit for the price. Otherwise, the rice is tasty with some curry broth poured over. They also offer Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken and Stew Oxtails. An employee named Maria assisted me on a Saturday night. She gave wonderful, warm service. Parking is easy and right on the side of the building. As a sweet bonus, they have good cake for dessert.

I recently visited Jamrock Jerk Center & Grill in Atlanta and had a great experience. I tried the brown stew chicken and jerk chicken, both served with rice and peas, and here’s my take: This dish was quite flavorful, with a rich, savory, and slightly sweet sauce that perfectly complemented the tender chicken. The rice and peas were well-cooked and made a great pairing with the stew. I loved the depth of flavor in the sauce—it felt like true comfort food. The jerk chicken was smoky and well-seasoned, just as it should be. The traditional Jamaican spices brought a nice level of heat without being overpowering. The chicken was tender and juicy, making it a satisfying meal. The restaurant itself is small but has a lively, authentic Jamaican vibe that I really enjoyed. It felt like a slice of Jamaica right in Atlanta. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

I will NEVER go back there. Customer service is HORRIBLE. I would go at least 2x every week. I've heard about the women attitudes, but never experienced it there, until today. The young lady in there is a piece of work. I asked for a manager or anyone who is over the staff. Just got ignored. I asked for my money back, mind you the food was still on the other side of the counter I havent touched it yet. She tried to tell me no refund. Not today, I definitely got my money back. The young lady started laughing and blurting out rude things from her mouth as I proceed to leave. I just kept walking, I dont have time for stuff like that. After reading through some of the reviews, I'm quite sure the owner wouldn't of done anything anyways.

First experience with the Jamaican cuisine and I loved it. People were so kind and happy that even my day which was already good, turned into a splendid day. The food is heavy and portions are huge, so keep in mind when you order. This place is made for people that are super hungry!!! The price was so low that I thought there was a mistake
