Overall a very good experience. The fried green tomatoes were delicious and the sweet potato soufflé is spectacular. The staff was friendly but the food was the star. The chicken was very tender but could definitely use more seasoning. Overall a great experience and I’d recommend this restaurant!

I took my parents for some soul food. It was our first time visiting the landmark restaurant. We went at lunch on a Saturday. Service was amazing. Food was good, not great but better than most. I was so hungry when it came out I forgot to take pictures of our plates. We tried the fried chicken, sirloin burger and country fried steak. Parking was easy. Loved the vintage feel inside.

Since it has been in business since 1927, this could be the place your grandparents came as kids. The carpet is new and it’s brighter under new ownership but parking is adequate and the food is still Southern classic. My parents brought me here as a kid. Loved the turkey and dressing, used to call it the “always Thanksgiving place.” Never had dressing as good as theirs, any place else. If you ask, they may have Waldorf salad as a side. You won’t find that on a lot of menus. Turkey and dressing, mac ‘n’ cheese and Waldorf salad with iced tea came to about $30 before tip. Bar is an added treat.

We had a great meal tonight with 7 members of our family tonight. Marcele, our server, was very attentive & informative, meeting and aticipating all our needs. Everyone agreed the food was exceptional and up to the Colonnade standards, from the fried chicken, pork chops, southern sides, whipped potatoes & gravy, sweet potatoe Souffle, Mac & Cheese, and the Fried chicken salad. Yes, the menu has been updated, but what restuarant hasn't updated their menu, especially given the current price point, of beef and other more expensive entrees. I think you will be well pleased
