The Last Feast for ATL Foodies. A Perfect Send-Off at The Deer and The Dove For our final ATL Foodies gathering of the year, we picked The Deer and The Dove, and what a beautiful choice it was to close out 2024 and welcome new culinary adventures in 2025! First impressions matter, and this place nailed it. A warm welcome, a big smile, and we were escorted to our table. Arriving before everyone else, I had time to soak in the atmosphere. The decor is stunning, the ambiance smooth and inviting, and the staff interactions were flawless—a well-oiled machine of hospitality. Once seated, the evening began with deep conversations. From summing up 2024 in one word to reflecting on life’s purpose and future goals, our group didn’t shy away from introspection, all while enjoying hearty laughs and delicious food. Now, about the food: I cannot recommend the Duck Fat Potatoes enough—they melted in our mouths. For my main course, I had the Bramlett Farms Whole Trout, cooked to perfection. Around the table, other highlights included the Fossil Farms Pheasant—which I tried, and yes, it was incredible—and a burger that immediately went on my “must-try” list for next time. Special shoutout to our server, Julia, who was the definition of on point. Her timing was impeccable—always there when we needed her but never intrusive. Her warm demeanor added an extra layer of charm to an already delightful experience. In the end, The Deer and The Dove earned the title of a hidden gem of Atlanta. If you’re ever in the city, this place is a must-visit. Don’t skip the desserts—trust me, they’re worth it! With a warm goodbye to 2024, here’s to new adventures and flavors in the coming year. Wasn’t very hungry so didn’t explore the menu as much as I normally would, but the pâté was excellent. Service was a little slow but not enough so to dock the rating. Would definitely go to again!

Spectacular food and atmosphere out of the patio. We met the chef's wife and she was as sweet as she could be. Our server was adorable and friendly and helpful. Service was fast and accurate. The food again, was spectacular! We had Octopus, Grilled Beef Tongue and the Beef Heart Tartare and the Bone Marrow + Snails for appetizers. Delicious each and everyone on these plates, small and flavorful. Perfect amount of acid to make the food sing. Then we ordered the Halibut and the Fossil Farms Pheasant. Delicious. Tasty. Exciting. Full of flavors. - I will not beat around the bush, it is expensive! But for a special night like ours, it was worth every penny!!

Great restaurant, wonderful food. Second visit this time with family, another great experience. Food selection is “exotic”, pate, beef tongue, etc. equally great options like partridge, duck etc. enough of a selection to easily satisfy a vegetarian. Great fish dishes. Excellent duck and partridge,
