Samson and Goliath (cranes)

Samson and Goliath are the two colossal yellow gantry cranes at Harland & Wolff shipyard, built in 1969 and 1974 respectively. They stand over 100 meters tall and have become enduring symbols of Belfast's industrial heritage. While the shipyard is still active, visitors can view the cranes from various vantage points around the Titanic Quarter, including the nearby Titanic Belfast museum or from the water on a boat tour.
