Torre Abbey is a former Premonstratensian abbey founded in 1196, later converted into a country house and now a museum and art gallery. Its rooms display fine art, including works by William Blake and the Pre-Raphaelites, alongside historic interiors and local history exhibits. The extensive gardens feature a medieval tithe barn, a palm house, and a sculpture trail. Visitors can explore the abbey's ruins, the Victorian kitchen, and the recently restored Spanish Barn, which once held prisoners from the Spanish Armada.
