The Quarry is Shrewsbury's premier park, stretching along the River Severn with 29 acres of manicured lawns, tree-lined avenues, and vibrant flower beds. The park's centerpiece is the Dingle, a sunken garden with seasonal floral displays, a waterfall, and a pond. A Victorian bandstand hosts concerts in summer, while the riverbank offers peaceful spots for picnics and punting. The park is also the site of the annual Shrewsbury Flower Show, one of the oldest horticultural events in the UK, attracting thousands of visitors each August.

Don't miss
