Low Rock Castle is a striking 19th-century castellated mansion built on a cliff edge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean near Portrush. Designed in the Gothic Revival style, the castle features turrets, battlements, and ornate stonework, evoking a romantic medieval fortress. Originally constructed as a private residence, it remains in private hands today, so interior access is not available. However, the exterior can be admired from the coastal path and nearby viewpoints, offering dramatic photo opportunities against the rugged coastline. Its isolated position and architectural detail make it a distinctive landmark on the Causeway Coast.

Don't miss
