Trebah is a stunning 26-acre subtropical garden that tumbles down a wooded ravine to a private shingle beach on the Helford River. The garden features a series of cascading pools and waterfalls, creating a serene soundtrack as you walk. Rare and exotic plants from around the world flourish in the mild Cornish climate, including giant rhododendrons, tree ferns, and palms. The hydrangea valley in late summer is a highlight. Trebah’s naturalistic design feels wild and romantic, with hidden paths leading to unexpected viewpoints and the tranquil beach.

Don't miss

  • Follow the stream down through the garden to the private beach and enjoy the coastal views.
  • Stroll through the Hydrangea Valley when in full bloom (July–September).
  • Discover the giant Chilean rhubarb and other rare specimens in the valley floor.
