The House That Moved is a rare surviving medieval merchant's house, originally located on the route of a new road. In 1961, it was carefully dismantled and moved 75 meters to its current site, where it now stands as a distinctive architectural curiosity. Visitors can admire its jettied upper floors, carved beams, and steeply pitched roof from the outside. The building's story of preservation against urban development makes it a beloved local icon.
