Plas Newydd is a grand country house set in extensive gardens on the shores of the Menai Strait, with spectacular views of Snowdonia. It has been the home of the Marquess of Anglesey for over 200 years. Visitors can tour the elegant rooms, including a military museum dedicated to the 1st Marquess who fought at Waterloo, and admire the large Rex Whistler mural. The gardens feature an arboretum, a rhododendron collection, and woodland walks.
