A bit of history

The Bullring has been a market area since the 12th century, named after a bull-baiting ring. The modern shopping centre opened in 2003, replacing a 1960s concrete structure. Grand Central, formerly the Pallasades Shopping Centre, was redeveloped and integrated with the Bullring in 2015.
