The Old College is a magnificent Victorian Gothic building perched on the seafront, originally opened in 1872 as the first home of Aberystwyth University. Its ornate architecture, with spires and intricate stonework, makes it a distinctive landmark along the promenade. Though no longer used for teaching, the building houses the university's administration and occasionally opens for events. Visitors can admire its exterior from the seafront or join guided tours when available to see the grand interior, including the former library and Great Hall.
