The place has an amazing view, the seating and decor is really nice as well. Of course you'd want to enjoy the view outside but the inside is good as well. Must do a booking before you come though. I've come here three times, mostly for the views, and I must say that the food is average, and service needs to improve. The burgers were okay, but not great. The fries that came with were really nice, warm and crunchy. I think overall quality of food can improve. They definitely need to do something about the service. Twice I've had an issue. One time they wouldn't bring out fries, even though they had the potatoes. This time they wouldn't acknowledge a simple request to bring Cajun spice for the fries because it had 'finished'. I asked the manager later, after I was done, he said they have it. And also, service was very late, starters came with the mains.
It was such a great experience. The highest restaurant located in RAK Jebel Jais at the top. Spectacular view and great food. Absolutely amazing place to be and amazing experience. Worth my time to drive all the way. Thanks so much to Prisca for being so accommodating and great service. Amazing experience.
We enjoyed a great lunch at 1484 with the family. The food was great (I personally enjoyed the Poke bowl - the ingredients were fresh and top quality). The staff were equally as friendly and helpful. But what really makes this place special are the views...up in the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah - the temperature is perfect, with picture perfect cloud coverage! You must make a reservation, as access to the top of Jebel Jais where the restaurant is, is restricted.
The food and view was superb on this perfect weather. Great and attentive server as well, specially Prisca. Had a relaxing breakfast.
