Fujairah city is the capital of the Emirate of Fujairah, the only emirate located entirely on the Gulf of Oman. Its centerpiece is the 16th-century Fujairah Fort, one of the oldest in the UAE, surrounded by a restored village. The nearby Fujairah Museum displays archaeological finds and local heritage. Visitors can also explore the bustling Friday Market and the scenic Al Bithnah Fort, set against the Hajar Mountains.
