Although in the place were only 8 customers , the service was super slow, being with 2 children I informed them that we would prefer to order asap. The staff with 8 customers were completely unaware of the dynamics of the tables, food quality went down since 2020, I had to prompt the staff twice , to bring the food, they forgot about a dish, it took more than 10 min to prepare 2 iced coffees. Really disappointing, for the prices they charge .

Had an great experience in this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and you could notice that they focus on excellent service. I choose one of the tasting menus and was able to customize it to my preference. The dishes were creative, both in taste and presentation and the acompanied wines paired good. For a michelin star restaurant, the atmosphere might not be what exactly what you expect if it’s your first time but I think it’s as intended as it doesn’t have that extreme ‘classy’ vibe but more relaxed. Furthermore, I really appreciated that the staff took time to have a small conversation now and then and the extra ‘farewell’ dessert. Overall a great place for diner!!

Absolutely excellent food but totally spoilt the evening with really poor service and the icing on the cake was when we were giving feedback on the additional charge on the bill and the tthe service levels to the manager Aman,. He refused to take the feedback, was rude and came across as arrogant and did not care less. He Does not deserve to be in the hospitality industry for, for him, not the customer but he believes he is king. Sad to see the Massimo’s fine name being soiled for no fault of his and his innovative brilliance and genius. Will not return despite the food.

On arrival the welcome desk was unmanned so we waited for 5 minutes then wandered into the restaurant where eventually a waiter met us and confirmed our booking offering an in or outside table. Menus were given to us but the tasting menus we had come for were not on the menus. We advised the waiter that we had envisaged having the 5 course tasting menu - she apologised and told us that neither the 5 or 7 course offerings were available, a new chef was in-situ and there were no longer tasting menus available. We ordered from the Al a carte. After our shared starter, which was beautifully presented and flavoursome, My husband ordered the risotto which unfortunately was not fully cooked - the rice still much more than Al dente, so we asked to have it replaced After 20 minutes the risotto plate returned but sadly again undercooked I had pasta which was Al dente but flavoursome however we were now eating separate meals as the dishes were served 20 minutes apart and in truth finding it difficult to understand where/what the offering the restaurant’s vision as per its publicity actually was. Our waiter Mohamed was very attentive, apologised for the issue with the risotto and ensured our wine glasses were regularly topped up as we waited for the replacement dish, but the whole experience had been disappointing - we had checked the restaurant website before flying out to Dubai and furthermore the concierge in our hotel had recommended it, he too was unaware of the removal of the tasting offering. On checking with your manager as we prepared to leave we discovered staffing issues, the imminent closure and move to Abu Dhabi!! Really not at all what we expected
