Amazonico

We had an incredible night celebrating my friend’s 30th birthday at Amazónico Dubai - DIFC. We made a reservation in advance and were warmly welcomed. We began our meal with a delicious salad and some sushi from their menu. The atmosphere at Amazónico is truly amazing; you’re bound to fall in love with it. But what truly stood out was their drinks. The cocktails, served in unique monkey-style cups, were exceptional. I even wanted to take one of their cocktail cups home with me! I requested a birthday cake with a “happy birthday” message, and they did a fantastic job with it. It added to the celebratory vibe of the evening. One thing I also liked was that they have cigars on their menu. As a cigar enthusiast, it was a great addition to the menu. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely choose to come back here again.

Amazonico is a fantastic spot with an incredible atmosphere that truly enhances the dining experience. The food is delicious, and the staff are warm and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of the place. The pineapple dessert is an absolute standout and a must-try! We recently visited Amazonico Dubai, expecting an exceptional dining experience given the restaurant’s reputation and price point. Unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations. When we asked for recommendations, the waiter suggested the guacamole, which was quite underwhelming and tasted very basic—almost as if it was recommended to use up an excess supply of avocados. One of our shrimp dishes arrived cold and lacked flavor; adding a bit of caviar on top doesn’t justify the price or elevate the dish. Overall, the portions were small, the flavors uninspired, and the meals overpriced for what was offered. We had initially planned to explore a different high-end restaurant every night during our trip, but after this disappointing experience, we’ve decided to keep things simple for the rest of our stay.

Heard good things about the place so had high hopes. Can smoke inside at your table which was a surprise but as I smoke, was good for me. You absolutely cannot smell any smoke or even see any, the air con is that good, even with cigar smokers either side of us. Good atmosphere inside, good music. Loud but not too loud. Food is good but it is quite expensive so needs to be. 4 adults, food and a couple of drinks each, cost us over 3000AED (around £650). Staggeringly large amount of prostitutes hanging around outside waiting for men who are looking to spend money for that service. Getting the car back from the valet and away from the DIFC at 11.30pm was a pain. There are better places to spend your money.
