Umm Al Emarat Park is Abu Dhabi's oldest and largest urban green space, spanning 18 hectares in the city center. Originally established as a botanical garden in the 1980s, it has been transformed into a modern family destination with themed gardens, a children's petting zoo, a large lake with paddle boats, and shaded picnic areas. Visitors can stroll through the Shade House, relax in the Flower Garden, or let kids play in the adventure playground. The park also hosts seasonal events and farmers' markets, making it a vibrant community hub.
Don't miss
- Pet and feed goats, sheep, and rabbits at the Barn animal area.
- Rent a paddle boat and explore the central lake with its fountain.
- Walk through the Shade House, a cool greenhouse filled with tropical plants.
