Built in 1928 by the Great Northern Railway, Whitefish station stands as a charming example of rustic stone-and-timber architecture. Visitors can watch the daily arrival of Amtrak's Empire Builder, which connects Chicago to the Pacific Northwest. Inside, the waiting room retains its original wooden benches and ticket window, evoking the golden age of rail.
