Ybor City Museum State Park preserves the cultural heritage of Tampa's cigar-making community. The museum is located in the historic Ferlita Bakery, which once supplied bread to local cigar workers. Exhibits cover the immigrant groups, Cuban, Spanish, Italian, and German, who built the industry, with artifacts like cigar molds, rolling tools, and photographs. Outside, visitors can tour the restored Casita, a typical worker's home, and the adjacent garden featuring plants used in cigar production. The park offers a quiet, educational contrast to the district's nightlife.
