The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site is a museum built around an extraordinary fossil bed containing over 2,000 dinosaur footprints from the Early Jurassic period. Visitors can view the tracks in situ, preserved on ancient lakebed slabs, and see life-sized dinosaur models. Interactive exhibits explain the science of track formation and the prehistoric environment. The site was discovered in 2000 and continues to yield new fossils, making each visit unique.

Don't miss

  • See the main track slab with hundreds of footprints from multiple species.
  • Watch paleontologists at work in the on-site lab (when active).
  • Touch a real dinosaur bone at the hands-on discovery table.
