Riverfront Park is a 100-acre green space in downtown Spokane, wrapping around the Spokane River and the dramatic Spokane Falls. Visitors can stroll along riverfront pathways, ride the beautifully restored 1909 Looff Carousel, and spot the iconic Garbage Goat, a whimsical metal sculpture that eats trash. The park also features the SkyRide gondola for aerial views of the falls and the Numerica SkyRide, plus seasonal events like concerts and festivals. It's a central hub for outdoor recreation and urban exploration.
Don't miss
- Watch the Spokane Falls thunder over rocks from the Pavilion or the SkyRide gondola.
- Ride the historic 1909 Looff Carousel, one of the few remaining all-wooden carousels.
- Find the Garbage Goat sculpture and feed it recyclables, it actually 'eats' them.
