Seven Sacred Pools are a chain of shallow, water-filled depressions carved into the red rock along a seasonal creek in Sedona. The pools are reached via the popular Soldier Pass Trail, a moderate hike that winds through juniper-dotted terrain. Depending on recent rainfall, the pools may hold clear, reflective water that mirrors the surrounding cliffs, making them a favorite subject for photographers. The area is considered spiritually significant by some, and the hike also passes the Devil's Kitchen Sinkhole and ancient petroglyphs.
