Abravanel Hall is a 2,800-seat concert venue named after longtime Utah Symphony conductor Maurice Abravanel. Opened in 1979, its design emphasizes acoustic excellence, with a shoebox-shaped auditorium and adjustable sound panels. The hall hosts the Utah Symphony's classical and pops series, as well as visiting orchestras and soloists. Visitors can enjoy the warm, resonant sound from any seat, and the adjacent Salt Lake City Public Library and City Creek Center offer pre-concert activities.
