The Campus Martius Museum in Marietta, Ohio, chronicles the region's history from the Northwest Territory era through the 19th century. Housed in a reconstructed fort-like building, the museum displays original artifacts, including Rufus Putnam's home, and interactive exhibits on pioneer life, river trade, and the area's role in westward expansion. Visitors can explore the Ohio Company Land Office on-site, where early settlers purchased land, and view a full-scale replica of a covered wagon.
