Race Point Light stands at the very tip of Cape Cod, a classic New England lighthouse built in 1876. Visitors can reach it via a 45-minute walk through the dunes from the Race Point Beach parking lot, or by a longer hike along the shore. The lighthouse offers guided tours during summer, revealing its history and the keeper's quarters. The surrounding area features wild dunes, crashing waves, and excellent opportunities for whale watching from shore. It's a photographer's dream at sunset.
