Spartan Municipal Stadium is a historic football venue in Portsmouth, Ohio, built in 1930. It was the home field of the Portsmouth Spartans, a National Football League team that relocated to Detroit in 1934 and became the Detroit Lions. The stadium retains its original concrete and steel structure, with seating for about 10,000. Today it hosts high school football games and community events.
