Three Penguins is a whimsical rock formation located near the Courthouse Towers area in Arches National Park. It consists of three balanced boulders perched on a pedestal, resembling a trio of penguins huddled together. The formation is easily visible from the park road, making it a popular quick stop for photos. The illusion is best appreciated from a distance, where the shapes and shadows create the penguin likeness. It's a fine example of the park's many unusual erosional features that spark the imagination.
