Miami is renowned for its vibrant seafood scene, influenced by its coastal location and diverse cultural heritage. The best seafood restaurants in Miami showcase a variety of dishes that reflect both local and international flavors. Traditional seafood cuisine in the area often features dishes such as ceviche, a Peruvian classic made from fresh raw fish marinated in citrus juices, and stone crab claws, a local delicacy typically served with mustard sauce. Among the top seafood dining spots in Miami, Joe's Stone Crab is a historic establishment that has been serving seafood since 1913. Known for its stone crab claws, the restaurant operates seasonally from mid-October to mid-May, with prices for claws ranging from $40 to $60 per pound. Another popular choice is La Mar by Gastón Acurio, which offers a contemporary twist on traditional Peruvian seafood dishes, including tiraditos and a variety of ceviches, with entrees generally priced between $30 and $50. For those seeking affordable seafood dining, The Fish Market is a local favorite, providing a casual atmosphere and a menu filled with fresh catch options, including grilled fish tacos and fried shrimp, with most dishes priced under $20. Additionally, Monty's Raw Bar in Coconut Grove is known for its laid-back vibe and offers a range of seafood platters and raw bar selections at reasonable prices. ✨ HighlightMilo's Fish Restaurant, is an overall, good experience! The ambiance is upscale sheik hosts were welcoming, making it a great spot for seafood lovers. The quality of the food was great --each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The grilled fish we chose branzino was definitely a highlight, and the sides tomato salad , lightly fried zucchini and eggplant chips were delicious and complemented it perfectly. However, I did feel that the service was a bit rushed. While I appreciate prompt attention, it felt like we were hurried through the meal, which slightly took away from the overall experience. When we asked about certain fish we were told oh that takes too long! Also, be prepared for the prices; it's on the higher end. Stone crab one pound $167 that includes the shell you pay for. That said, the food makes it worth it for a special occasion or a treat. I would definitely recommend Milo's if you're looking for top-notch seafood.→
