The Temple of Kwan Tai, built in the 1850s, is one of the oldest continuously used Chinese Taoist temples in California. Located on Albion Street, this small wooden structure honors the god of justice and prosperity. Visitors can view the ornate altar, incense burners, and historical artifacts that tell the story of Chinese immigrants who helped build Mendocino's logging and fishing industries.
