Goat Island Light is a classic Maine lighthouse perched on a small island at the mouth of the Kennebunk River. Built in 1833, the 25-foot tower and attached keeper's house have been lovingly restored. Accessible only by boat, visitors can take a guided tour to learn about the lighthouse's maritime history and enjoy sweeping views of the Atlantic. The island also offers a chance to see seabirds and seals, making it a peaceful escape from the mainland bustle.
