Liliʻuokalani Park and Gardens is a 30-acre oasis that blends Japanese aesthetics with Hawaiian surroundings. Named after Hawaii's last reigning queen, the park features a traditional Japanese garden with arched bridges, koi-filled ponds, pagodas, and meticulously pruned bonsai trees. Visitors can stroll along winding paths, enjoy the views of Hilo Bay and Mauna Kea, and find peaceful spots for reflection. The park is also home to the annual Hilo Japanese Lantern Floating Ceremony, adding cultural significance to its beauty.
