Thorncrown Chapel is a stunning glass-walled sanctuary designed by architect E. Fay Jones, nestled in a wooded glen near Eureka Springs. Completed in 1980, the chapel features over 6,000 square feet of glass set in a framework of native wood, creating a light-filled space that blends seamlessly with the surrounding forest. Visitors can sit quietly on simple wooden pews, gaze through the treetops, and experience the serene interplay of nature and architecture. It has won numerous design awards and remains a beloved spiritual retreat.
