The North Idaho Centennial Trail is a paved, 23-mile route that stretches from Coeur d'Alene to the Washington state line, hugging the shoreline of Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River. It's a flat, scenic path ideal for cyclists, joggers, inline skaters, and casual walkers. Along the way, you'll pass parks, beaches, and wetlands, with benches and rest stops every few miles. The trail is well-maintained and connects to downtown Coeur d'Alene, making it easy to start a ride or walk from the city center.
Don't miss
- Cycle the entire 23-mile length for a full-day adventure with lake views
- Stop at Higgens Point for a picnic and birdwatching on the water
- Rollerblade the smooth, flat section from the resort to Sanders Beach
