Carn Llidi rises sharply from the coastal plain near St Davids, rewarding hikers with sweeping views of Ramsey Island, the Irish Sea, and the surrounding patchwork fields. The hill is a distinctive landmark, its rocky summit easily reached via a well-trodden path. On a clear day, the panorama stretches from the Preseli Hills to the coast of Ireland. The short but steep climb passes through heathland and offers a sense of isolation despite its proximity to the city.

Don't miss

  • 360-degree views from the summit including Ramsey Island and St Davids Head.
  • Short but steep climb through heathland with wildflowers in spring and summer.
  • Sunset visits for dramatic lighting over the sea and islands.
