Mousehole (pronounced 'Mowzle') is a quintessential Cornish fishing village with a crescent-shaped harbor enclosed by stone quays. Its narrow, winding streets are lined with granite cottages, art galleries, and seafood restaurants. The village is famous for its Christmas lights display, which illuminates the harbor and streets from December to early January. Visitors can stroll along the harbor wall, watch fishing boats come and go, or explore the nearby rocky coves. Mousehole has inspired many artists, including the painter Alfred Wallis, who lived here.
