The Rumps is a striking headland jutting into the Atlantic, part of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visitors can walk the South West Coast Path along its cliffs, exploring the remains of two Iron Age cliff castles, fortified promontories with earthwork ramparts. The site offers panoramic views of the Camel Estuary, Stepper Point, and the open sea, with seabirds like fulmars and cormorants nesting on the cliffs. It's a peaceful spot for hiking, photography, and connecting with ancient history.
