Daymer Bay is a sheltered sandy beach on the Camel Estuary, backed by dunes and the St Enodoc Golf Course. Its calm, shallow waters make it a favorite for swimming and windsurfing, especially for beginners. The beach is less crowded than nearby Polzeath, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. At low tide, you can walk across to the opposite shore or explore rock pools. The surrounding dunes are a haven for wildlife and provide a natural windbreak. It's a quintessential Cornish cove perfect for a family day out.

Don't miss

  • Swim in the calm, shallow waters protected by the estuary
  • Windsurf or paddleboard with lessons available locally
  • Walk the coastal path to the adjacent St Enodoc Church
