Càrn Mòr Dearg is a Munro (Scottish mountain over 3,000 feet) that forms part of the famous Ben Nevis ridge traverse. Climbers often include it in a longer route that connects to Ben Nevis via the Càrn Mòr Dearg Arête, a narrow and exposed ridge. The ascent provides stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Highlands and a sense of remote wilderness. It's a challenging but rewarding climb for experienced hillwalkers, with rocky terrain and steep sections.
