Newborough Warren, located on the southwestern tip of Anglesey near Caernarfon, is a sprawling nature reserve encompassing sand dunes, pine forest, and a long sandy beach. It is a haven for wildlife, notably the red squirrel, which thrives in the forested areas. Visitors can walk or cycle through the forest trails, explore the dunes, and enjoy views of the Menai Strait and Snowdonia. The reserve also includes Llanddwyn Island, accessible at low tide, with its lighthouse and ruins of a 16th-century church.
