✨ HighlightNEVER returning. Food is poor, we could not be more disappointed. We heard good things about this restaurant but our experience was very bad. The restaurant stinks so bad of cigarettes, at the entrance we asked for a non smoking table and we were told “everywhere smoking and no smoking”, to sum it up, the whole place smells so bad. Then came the appetizers, cold meze with also packed bread, as if it was bought in bulk, days ago, at the groceries store. Not what you’d expected at a respect Lebanese restaurant. Next we had a fish which was dry and tasteless, and following I had to order a pizza because I was so hungry and judging by the appetizer and main course, nothing was good. The pizza was the same, tasted like it was defrosted pizza in the airfrier. I must though, highlight the service, we were served by a Syrian young man who was 10/10. He was kind, courteous and honestly the only reason we did not make any complaint. Long story short, don’t spend your time / cash in this place! It’s not worth it!→

The menu offered a fantastic selection of Lebanese favorites, and the grilled dishes were definitely a highlight. We tried the family grill platter, which was an excellent choice for sharing and featured a variety of expertly seasoned and perfectly grilled meats. The Shish Tawouk was tender and juicy, with a rich, smoky flavor that made it a standout. The Shawarma was equally impressive—well-spiced, thinly sliced, and paired beautifully with fresh pita bread. The mezze selection added another layer of enjoyment to our meal, especially the hummus and tabbouleh, which were incredibly fresh and vibrant. Service was attentive and knowledgeable, with the staff offering helpful suggestions and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Sikkat Beirut in Umm Al Quwain is a gem, ideal for family gatherings or anyone looking to savor authentic Lebanese flavors. I highly recommend it for those wanting a genuine taste of Lebanon right here in the UAE.→
