The View at The Palm is a stunning observation deck near the top of the Palm Tower, on the 52nd floor, offering the single best vantage point over Dubai's iconic Palm Jumeirah, the famous man-made, palm-tree-shaped island. From around 240 metres up, floor-to-ceiling windows reveal the full, astonishing scale of the Palm's fronds and crescent stretching out into the Arabian Gulf, with the Dubai skyline, the Burj Al Arab, and the coastline beyond. It's the only place where you can truly grasp the shape of the Palm from above without taking to the air.

The deck includes interactive displays telling the story of how the extraordinary island was built. It's especially memorable at sunset and after dark, when the Palm and the city light up. Located in the Palm Tower (above the St Regis hotel, by Nakheel Mall), it's easy to reach via the Palm Monorail. Book timed tickets online, ideally for a sunset slot, and allow an hour.

A bit of history

Palm Jumeirah, one of the world's largest artificial islands, was constructed from reclaimed sand and rock in the 2000s. The Palm Tower, completed around 2019–2021, rises from its trunk, and The View observation deck opened near its top to showcase the island's remarkable engineering from above.
