Abu Dhabi's Corniche is a beautifully maintained waterfront stretching for several kilometres along the Gulf, a wide, landscaped promenade with cycling and walking paths, parks, cafés, and a Blue Flag public beach with calm, clean water. It's the city's outdoor living room, where residents jog, cycle, and picnic against a backdrop of the gleaming downtown skyline on one side and the turquoise sea on the other.
For visitors it's a relaxed, free way to experience everyday Abu Dhabi: rent a bike, swim at the beach (with lifeguards and family-friendly facilities), or simply stroll at sunset. It's at its best in the cooler months and in the evening, when the temperature drops and the skyline lights up. Bike-share stations and beach amenities make it easy to enjoy.
