The Great Synagogue of Lutsk, built in the 1620s, is a striking example of Renaissance architecture with defensive features. Originally a fortress-like structure with thick walls and loopholes, it served as both a house of worship and a refuge during attacks. After World War II, the building was used as a warehouse and later restored. Today it functions as a cultural center, hosting exhibitions and events. Visitors can see the restored exterior, the main prayer hall, and learn about the city's once-thriving Jewish community.
