The Source of the Nile Bridge, also known as the New Jinja Bridge, is a striking cable-stayed structure that spans the Nile River just downstream from its source. Completed in 2018, it provides a vital road link between Jinja and the eastern regions of Uganda. Visitors can walk or drive across the bridge to enjoy breathtaking views of the river, the surrounding hills, and the distant Owen Falls Dam. The bridge is especially photogenic at sunrise or sunset, when the light reflects off the water and the cable stays cast dramatic shadows.
